Simple tables in a very sunny and spacious setting, funny name, good food, but I think its overpriced. Their "Yucatan Turkey" sandwich and salads are pretty good. It's also nice to study here if you don't mind the noise

Maisha Oliver at Kabob-It station inside of the U of C Hutchinson Cafe has by far the best pineapple chicken kabob & salmon kabob ever. The meal was so flavorful and delicious. The mango habanero sauce was absolutely divine. You can tell the food is made with love. I also had some salad w/ lemon zest dressing that was pretty good as well. Try it for yourself you won’t be disappointed. My lunch was phenomenal today and I will be back.

They have a great Impossible burger; and a very hipster atmosphere. The personal can be a bit sassy at times.

The Impossible burger is very good. I recommend the brioche bun as well. The only thing missing is french fries. The burger has a variety of toppings and is excellent with or without the bun. Highly recommended but a little pricey.

Gets busy at lunch. Cashless. Runs out of the egg custard cover early.

They are open daily 8 am - 3 pm (if double check). They serve coffee, salads, pho soups and buns. They also have bubble tea.

The other reviews are quite old. The Quantum Cafe now features Cà Phê Dá. This Vietnamese Café features the food of James Beard Foundation award and three Michelin Star chef Thai Dang. It is part of the UChicago Dining program where students can get pho, bahn mi, rice bowls, coffee, and other grab and go items. The lines can get a bit long, but they move fast. The team is friendly.

Great place for custom burgers and salads, a nice hidden gem on campus that should be uncovered. I've never had a bad experience at this cafe and it's an amazing value among for the campus. Try the grilled chicken pasta or impossible burger, the two most popular items off the menu. I've heard good things about the herb grilled salmon, and asian chicken/tofu, but still need to sample them myself to provide and accurate experience.
